Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about our office coffee service across Raleigh, Durham and the wider Triangle. Still need something? Call 919-928-2785.
What areas do you serve?
Break Coffee of Raleigh Durham serves offices across the Triangle, including Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill, Apex, Morrisville, Research Triangle Park, Wake Forest, Garner, Holly Springs and Fuquay-Varina, plus Wake, Durham, Orange, Chatham, Johnston, Franklin and Granville counties.
Which coffee machines do you provide?
We install Swiss-made JURA bean-to-cup machines: the compact W8 for smaller offices, executive suites, conference rooms and reception areas, and the Giga X8, X10 Pro and GIGA 10 for higher-volume workplaces. Every machine grinds fresh beans for each drink.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. The service is entirely turnkey, with no rentals, no long-term contracts and no hidden fees. Plans run month to month, and you can choose a flat-rate all-inclusive plan or a simple pay-per-cup option.
Can we try it before we commit?
Yes. We offer a free trial so your team can taste the coffee in your own breakroom before making a decision, with no obligation to continue.
What drinks can the machines make?
Espresso, caffe latte, cappuccino, flat white, latte macchiato, americano, cortado, hot chocolate and premium hot coffee, plus cold brew and nitro cold brew from a dual-tap system. Every milk drink uses real milk, never powder.
Who cleans and maintains the machines?
We do. Cleaning, descaling and repairs are all included, along with on-site servicing and restocking.
What happens if a machine breaks down?
We replace it rather than repair it on site. A fully serviced, ready-to-brew unit is swapped in, so your office has zero downtime.
How much does office coffee service cost?
One flat weekly rate per person, covering the Jura machine, fresh beans, the milk refrigerator and weekly on-site service. The rate falls as headcount rises: $3.70 per person per week for a 20–30 person office, down to $2.30 at 141–150. A 25-person office pays about $92 a week — roughly $400 a month — with no equipment purchase and no separate service contract.

Teams under 20 or over 150, multi-machine sites and businesses that resell coffee (billed per cup, with a monthly minimum) are quoted individually — call 919-928-2785.
How small or large an office can you serve?
Our published rates cover offices of 20 to 150 people, priced on headcount so a smaller office simply pays less. Teams outside that range are quoted individually rather than turned away, and setups range from single-room offices to multi-machine corporate sites, with the machine matched to your team size.
Do you supply the milk and keep it cold?
Yes. A companion countertop milk refrigerator holds a full gallon and maintains 32-40F. An insulated chamber and milk-line access port connect directly to the espresso machine, so the door stays shut and the milk stays at temperature.
How do we get started?
